ABSTRACT
Nicolas Angel, a high-flying London cop, is involuntarily transferred to a humdrum beat in the quaint town of Sanford following concerns about his excellent performance relative to his insecure peers. Working alongside witless partner Danny Butterman, the pair investigate the disquieting decapitation of two Sanford-area actors, soon launching into an investigation with wide-reaching consequences after they learn frightening truths about various townsfolk's lives and potential role in the "accidents".
