ORGANIZATION

Founded 1987 by the merger of Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy with the Nuclear Weapons Freeze Campaign ("The Freeze"), becoming SANE/Freeze. It was renamed to Peace Action in 1993. Membership about 90,000.
