ABSTRACT
German teacher Daniel purchases a mystical ring from neighboring street vendor-cum-artist Juli; Juli, who is madly in love with him, intends to lead him to her by spinning a tale about the ring's powers to lead him to the woman of his dreams and inviting him to a party that night. Daniel meets a Turkish woman, Melek, wearing a shirt with a symbol matching his ring; thus begins a strange connection that sees Daniel driving from Hamburg to the Basporus with none other than Juli in tow in search of Melek's love.
