ABSTRACT
Remake of Halloween (1978). Psychopathic serial killer Michael Myers, tormented by episodes of abuse and mental instability from a young age, is sent to a psych ward after murdering his stepfather, sister, sister's boyfriend, and a schoolyard bully in the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween, 1963. A decade and a half pass before Michael, now a violent recluse obsessed with papier-mache masks, escapes from his confines, bent on returning to his hometown to find baby sister Laurie; psychologist Sam Loomis must race him to his destination to warn unsuspecting strangers of the dangers his patient poses before time runs out.
