Bruce Wayne's successor must contend with the Joker's inexplicable reappearance following his supposed death decades earlier.

ABSTRACT
The Joker returns to Neo-Gotham City after an ostensibly fatal battle with Bruce Wayne thirty-five years earlier, forcing a befuddled Terry McGinnis's hand as he contends with the Joker's apparent reappearance and Bruce's fervent skepticism. A vicious attack on Bruce in the Batcave quells any doubts as to the Joker's return, sending Terry into action as he looks to investigate the ordeal, vanquish a long-standing foe once and for all, and do right by his aging mentor.
