ABSTRACT
Thom, a New York City man without any above-board job opportunities to pursue and facing eviction from his apartment, decides to become an illegal taxi driver to stave off homelessness. From there, he inadvertently picks up Claire, a woman fed up with her marriage and seeking to reunite with her ailing estranged father in California, and embarks on a journey of understanding and self-discovery after agreeing to drive her out to her destination.
