A young widow supporting herself as a comparison shopper (a spy for another department store) finds herself in romantic crossfire when she inadvertently causes a rival store's clerk to lose his job. Witty and unpretentious Christmas comedy which deserves more airplay. Robert Mitchum is a surprising choice for romantic lead, but here demonstrates his versatility effortlessly.
