Me, Myself & Irene (15-Jun-2000)
Directors: Bobby Farrelly; Peter Farrelly Writers: Mike Cerrone; Bobby Farrelly; Peter Farrelly Keywords: Comedy, Multiple Personalities A psychotic Rhode Island state trooper must work to protect an at-large fugitive from her vicious ex-boyfriend.
ABSTRACT Rhode Island state trooper Charlie Baileygates is a man on the edge of madness, stricken by a case of dissociative identity disorder that causes him to abandon his default "nice-guy" persona for an alter-ego -- named "Hank Evans" -- whenever someone, or something, does something to send him off into a fit of rage. Charlie's issues are unexpectedly put on display when a routine assignment to return escaped fugitive Irene back to prison in upstate New York turns into a game of cat-and-mouse with her ex-boyfriend and an assortment of corrupt police officers, forcing him to attempt an escape with delicate cargo in tow even as Hank keeps popping in at the worst of times.
