Based-on-a-true-story drama chronicles the friendship between a young boy and a beleagured dolphin.

ABSTRACT
Inspired by the real-life Floridian rescue and subsequent rehabilitation of a bottlenose dolphin named "Winter", Dolphin Tale follows Sawyer, a young boy in Florida, as he is alerted to the presence of a bottlenose dolphin stuck in a crab trap by a nearby fisherman and ultimately forms a special relationship with the creature -- named Winter -- as it is taken in by specialists at the Clearwater Marine Hospital.
