An anthropomorphic bee disillusioned with a future in honey-making decides to sue humanity for their exploitation of the sweet substance.

ABSTRACT
Barry B. Benson, honeybee and newly-minted graduate of bee college, yearns for a life beyond his kind's preordained career path of honey-making. A friendship formed with New York City-based florist and bee lover Vanessa Bloome opens Barry's eyes up to humanity's exploitation of honey, prompting him to sue the human race for "stealing" the product of his brethren's blood, sweat, and tears.
