A rough-and-tumble minor-league hockey player's bad deed forces him to serve a sentence as a real-life tooth fairy.

ABSTRACT
Derek Thompson, a villainous minor-league hockey player nicknamed "The Tooth Fairy" for his knack for knocking the teeth of out of opposing players, breaks girlfriend Carly's six-year old daughter Tess's heart one night by stealing a dollar left for a lost tooth and telling her that the Tooth Fairy does not exist. That night, Derek sprouts a pair of wings and finds himself transported to the dreamlike realm of tooth fairies, informed that he must work at the mythical job he'd belittled as punishment for his "dream-crushing" transgression.
