Brannigan (26-Mar-1975)

Director: Douglas Hickox Writers: Michael Butler; William P. McGivern; William W. Norton; Christopher Trumbo Keywords: Crime A down-to-earth Chicago police detective travels to London to conclude the extradition of mobster Ben Larkin to the United States to stand trial for a panoply of charges, but finds his target kidnapped soon after his arrival in Britain. Giving a low-key performance with a strong supporting cast, as a film Brannigan fares much better than Wayne's other late-career police drama, McQ (1974).
