ABSTRACT
Jane is a happily divorced proprietor of a successful Santa Barbara restaurant, enjoying a platonic friendship with ex-husband Jake a decade removed from their split. Jane and Jake find themselves falling back into a romance together over a meal during festivities for their son's college graduation, putting Jane in the unenviable and unlikely position of "mistress" as Jake is now married to younger woman Agness.
