ABSTRACT
Sequel to The Princess Diaries (2001). Mia Thermopolis, now an official Genovian princess primed to succeed her grandmother as Queen following the events of The Princess Diaries, finds her ascension to the throne blocked by Viscount Mabrey when he reveals the existence of a law forbidding an unmarried woman from becoming Queen. Now, granted a thirty-day grace period, Mia must work quickly to find a proper suitor as the Viscount schemes to place his nephew on the throne instead.
