This film is one of if not my all time favorite film. I was thrilled to see it come to the small screen for much of this country to receive an education on AIDS. This movie hits home with me because I myself am infected with HIV for almost 19 years now. Every time I watch "And The Band Played On" it is a huge reminder of how far we have come in the battle with AIDS. I have seen almost all of my friends lose the battle with this horrible disease. Sometimes I ask God "why am I the one left behind"? I know now that it's because I have something to give to the world. Bravo to you for this incredible piece of cinematic creation.
