ABSTRACT
Milo, a slave-turned-gladiator smitten with beautiful young woman and merchant's daughter Cassia, works to win her heart after learning of her unwitting arranged marriage with a corrupt Senator. Complicating matters is the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, forcing Milo to fight for his life amidst the destruction of the once-booming Pompeii as he works harder than ever to win back his beloved.
