Archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft returns to the big screen to track down the mythical Pandora's Box, left by extraterrestrials untold millenia ago; should anyone gain control over the box the consequences to the human race would be dire. A criminal syndicate wants the Box as well and will stop at nothing to obtain it. Over-the-top mindless action film, essentially dressing for the Angelina Jolie eye candy. Disappointing sequel to Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), produced on a budget of $95M.
