ABSTRACT
French detective Hubert, a tough-as-nails man of the law unafraid to resort to fighting to get his way, receives a two-month suspension when his methods land him in hot water with the chief of police. During his sixty days away from work, Hubert learns of Japanese ex-lover Miko's untimely death; a trip to her native land to help settle her final affairs reveals a conspiracy at play behind her passing that he must work to solve with the help of friend Momo.
