Musical comedy follows the famous puppet characters as they work with three of their fans to prevent the demise of their beloved theater.

ABSTRACT
Gary, an obsessed Muppet fan living in the fictional community of Smalltown, plans a vacation out to Los Angeles with brother Walter and girlfriend Mary to tour the Muppet Studios. Arriving in town to find the studios abandoned, Walter discovers the Muppets' theater being sold to an energy magnate who plans to destroy the site and drill for oil underneath it; after informing Kermit the Frog of the situation, the three fans and anthropomorphic green amphibian team up to reunite the old crew and put on a show to raise enough money to save the theater from demolition. Won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
