REVIEWS Review by spuggy (posted on 27-Oct-2007) First let me state right off that I'm a HUGE Bruce Campbell fan, and I heard he was in this so I watched it. His parts are tiny (tho memorable as usual), but this time (happily) we get to see Ted Raimi step into the spotlight. I love this movie!! Sure, it's campy, low budget, odd, and well..... odd, but it's also sweet, charming, romantic, and fun! The performances are done with total committment and abandon. Deborah Foreman is kind of low key and compared to the others, normal, in this one, which is a switch for her. But she's totally convincing and her character believable. Ted is adorable and suitably nutty and Bruce is Bruce (did I mention I love him?).
This is one of those movies I pull out when I need cheering up. It always works!
Why isn't it on DVD?
