Two brothers become mortal enemies when financial difficulties compel them to turn to a life of crime.

ABSTRACT
Ian Blaine helps his father manage a restaurant; brother Terry is an alcoholic mechanic prone to frittering away whatever money he earns on gambling and get-rich-quick schemes. A massive gambling loss for Terry prompts the arrival of international businessman-cum-fraudster uncle Howard, who invites the pair to murder a man about to blow the whistle on his house-of-cards empire; eager to remain loyal to their family, the pair accept Howard's "offer", traversing a dangerous path that sees them transformed into sworn enemies.
