A corrupt police officer sets out to sabotage his co-workers to guarantee a promotion for himself and bring his estranged family back together.

Bruce Robertson, a crooked British cop with a nonexistent moral compass to match his soul-crushing levels of bigotry, stands determined to earn a promotion at work and the companionship of his estranged wife and daughter despite the ambition and superior skill of a number of his colleagues. To that end, Bruce, tapped to crack a case involving a brutal murder, works to turn said colleagues against one another, contending with a spiraling drug addiction and growing inability to keep track of all his lies and tricks as he shoots for a coveted move up the job ladder.
