ABSTRACT
Charly Mattei, a Frenchman and career criminal, has spent the past three years of his life attempting to leave his old existence behind in favor of a new one as an above-the-board husband and family man. When he is left for dead with twenty-two bullets in his body at the hands of a good friend from his past, however, Charly places himself up against seemingly insurmountable odds as part of an attempt to exact an unlikely revenge against his assailant.
