A hapless hotel handyman's life is altered in whimsical ways when bedtime stories he creates for his niece and nephew start coming true.

ABSTRACT
Put-upon Skeeter Bronson works as the handyman at a hotel owned by germ-obsessed Barry Nottingham, the result of a broken promise to allow Skeeter to run the hotel (eventually demolished and replaced) when father Marty sold it off. Skeeter's unhappy life takes a turn towards the whimsical when he agrees to watch niece Bobbi and nephew Patrick for sister Wendy while she is out of town, creating bedtime stories for their enjoyment that alter his life when they unexpectedly start coming true, often with input from the children.
