ABSTRACT
William McCordle and wife Lady Sylvia, aging early-1930s British socialites, invite a number of friends and relatives to their stately country house for an unforgettable weekend vacation turned murder mystery when William turns up dead, evidently murdered. Gosford Park examines storylines concerning a number of the house party's well-heeled guests and the servants tasked with taking care of their needs, offering viewers a polished glimpse into high-society goings-on of days gone by shattered by a lust for money as a police investigation reveals a desire for the murdered William's possessions amongst the exhaustive list of guests.
