Suspiria (1-Feb-1977)
Director: Dario Argento Writers: Dario Argento; Daria Nicolodi From novel: Suspiria de Profundi by Thomas De Quincey Keywords: Horror, Witchcraft An American ballet student travels to Freiburg to attend an elite German ballet school for girls. There she finds the teachers are not merely instructors of dance but a coven of malevolent witches. Girls from the school are murdered in exquisite choreography. Not very much plot -- but this unsettling film is visually stunning, one of the most beautiful horror films ever made.
