ABSTRACT Roy Waller and Frank Mercer, two full-time con artists with a penchant for a killer swindle, find themselves primed for a glorious payday with the sale of hilariously overpriced "water filtration systems" to gullible individuals and rigged prize "giveaways". Complicating matters for the pair is Roy's growing inability to maintain a sound mind brought about by severe agoraphobia and a moribund social life, troubles growing in severity when his estranged teenage daughter unexpectedly enters the picture and threatens the continued existence of his bustling racket.
