Rocky II (15-Jun-1979)

Director: Sylvester Stallone

Writer: Sylvester Stallone

Music by: Bill Conti

Producers: Irwin Winkler; Robert Chartoff

Keywords: Sports Drama, Boxing

Rocky, having defeated Apollo Creed in Rocky (1976), quickly squanders his $37,000 winnings; he marries Adriana and has a son. But he is unable to hold a steady job, lacking proper education combined with bad luck. Meanwhile his former opponent wants a rematch, and with Rocky's finances it will be very difficult to turn one down. Surprisingly good sequel despite being essentially a replay of the events from the first installment.
