ABSTRACT
Remake of True Grit (1969). Mattie Ross, a fourteen-year old girl living in the Old West, is struggling to find justice for the murder of her father by hired hand Tom Chaney. After being informed by a local sheriff that Chaney has escaped into the Indian Territory, Ross raises the required money to hire the services of ruthless United States Marshal Rooster Cogburn, who agrees to assist her in her hunt just as Texas Ranger LeBoeuf sets out on the same trail to apprehend Chaney for a separate killing.
