Quaker State
COMPANY
Founded 1913 by Charles Pape from amalgamating several existing businesses as Quaker State Oil Refining Corporation. At the end of 1998, the company merged with Pennzoil, forming Pennzoil-Quaker State. This was acquired in 2002 by Royal Dutch Shell.
