The longest puff piece on Young, "Businessman Stephen Young Among New Breed of Actors", Schenectady Gazette, 14 September 1968, does not mention his age except in the past: "At 22 he was making $350 a week selling such things as water softeners and adding machines but realized he was not enjoying it."
