Eagle Scout

HONOR

Awarded by the Boy Scouts of America, this is the highest advancement rank in the Scouting program. Approximately 4% of Scouts attain the Eagle.

From time to time, claims are made that so-and-so was the youngest recorded Eagle Scout (e.g. L. Ron Hubbard, Stephen Goldsmith). But since the Boy Scouts of America has never published the names or ages of their youngest Eagles, any such assertions are impossible to substantiate.
