SPORTS FRANCHISE

Founded 1967 as the Anaheim Amigos, a charter franchise in the American Basketball Association. Sold, relocated, and renamed the Los Angeles Stars in 1968. With dismal attendance in L.A., the team was sold and relocated to Salt Lake City in 1970, becoming the Utah Stars (ABA).
