[1] It is very unusual that no interview, article, or press release about this man that goes so far as to indicate that Sammon is gay. The Log Cabin Republicans website says that he is "one of the leading conservative voices defending gays and lesbians in the Republican Party." LCR's Liberty Education Forum says "Sammon is a leading conservative voice defending gay and lesbian Americans." While in theory Sammon may be heterosexual, we are going to take the leap of faith here.
