She toured for 2½ years with Disney's play Beauty and the Beast, playing Babette, and met her husband, Patrick Page, when he played Lumiere the candlestick. When they married, she decided she didn't want to be known as Paige Page, and did not change her professional name.
She is best known as host of Trading Spaces, the home makeover show on The Learning Channel (TLC). In 2003, TLC was reportedly aghast when Davis posed for the cover of TV Guide wearing only wallpaper, which may have violated a purported "no nudity" clause in her contract. At an AIDS fundraiser in 2004, she did a sexy cancan dance for cash, stuffing bills into her bra and panties, and lifted her skirt, briefly showing her thong underwear as photographers' flashbulbs went off. In 2005, amid rumors of homemade sex tapes starring Davis and an old boyfriend, she was "let go" as host of Trading Spaces. The tapes, turned out not to star Davis, but a near lookalike.
