[1] Suffered an aneurysm while driving in Cleveland Heights, and was taken to Huron Hospital. The Associated Press reported that she had died, although the Congresswoman was still alive at the time and for several hours following. At 6:12 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Tubbs Jones was pronounced dead.
