While friends were visiting his house, he molested an 11 year old girl, the daughter of a guest. The brief nature of the crime and his lack of prior criminal record would generally have resulted with probation. But while awaiting trial for that, he was arrested for prowling (apparently from the vantage point of his motorized wheelchair), while "observing" three pre-teen girls who were playing on a trampoline.
