Probably the most famous singer in Macedonia, also popular throughout the Balkans. His first album, Nekade vo Nokta, was released in 1999. Six subsequent albums appeared, with several released simultaneously in Macedonian and Serbo-Croatian languages. He was killed instantly in an automobile accident when his vehicle struck a truck on the Zagreb-Lipovac Highway, also injuring the driver seriously. The Macedonian government proclaimed a National Day of Mourning and gave the singer a state funeral.
