Fox and Justine Bateman. She was 16 when Family Ties was cancelled, and subsequently did a little acting, but mostly drifted toward being an ordinary teenager. In a 1993 short for Comedy Central, Yothers played Tonya Harding. In a 2003 stage production, she had the title role in Linda Lovelace: The Musical, with songs by Go-Go Charlotte Caffey. Yothers wrote Being Your Best: Tina Yothers' Guide for Girls, and at 21 she started a rock band called Jaded, with Yothers singing lead vocals, since parodied on South Park. Jaded released at least one album, but as of 2005 the band has apparently broken up.
