"Our organization was established in 1984 by leading manufacturers in the region who wanted to establish an organization that could assist smaller manufacturers in becoming more competitive. After successfully serving manufacturers for over 25 years, in 2006, we changed our name to the Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network, MAGNET, to reflect our broader commitment and new initiatives focused on education, advocacy, and competitiveness."
