Downtown Aquarium
AQUARIUM
Founded 1999 as Colorado's Ocean Journey, a nonprofit. After a 2002 bankruptcy, it was acquired and reopened by Landry's Restaurants, Inc. In 2005 Landry's renamed it Downtown Aquarium. With a total capacity of 1.2M gallons, it is the largest aquarium between Chicago and Monterey.
