Sold for $1.5M plus $7M stock in 1999 to Andover.net, which merged with VA Linux in 2000. Andover changed name to SourceForge in 2007, and Geeknet in 2009. Geeknet sold Slashdot and several other sites to Dice Holdings in 2012.
