MAGAZINE

Conservative Christian-oriented news magazine founded in March 1986 by Joel Lenz. Once managed by God's Word Publications, the magazine was spun off into its own company in 2001. The magazine encourages "directed journalism", in that its journalists report biblically, not objectively. The magazine formed the World Journalism Institute in 1998 to train a new generation of World journalists, but lately its focus has shifted toward installing Christian journalists in the mainstream media.
