Death by the willful deprivation of oxygen in order to achieve sexual pleasure, a practice which is more common than it would seem. When fatal, it is perhaps the most embarrassing way to go. It should be noted that INXS frontman Michael Hutchence does not appear on this list as the coroner in Sydney ruled his death a suicide, stating there was no evidence to support autoeroticism as cause of death.
