Named for J. M. W. Turner, a British award (presently £40,000, and £5,000 to each artist on the shortlist) given annually to a visual artist below the age of fifty. It is a sponsored award, former and present sponsers including Drexel Burnham Lambert, UK Channel 4, and Gordon's Gin.
