A stockbroker moves to the Midwest near his cousin Daisy, where he grows intrigued by his neighbor Gatsby, who has acquired wealth through unsavory means and undertaken steps to cover that fact. Gatsby is in turn obsessed with Daisy, with whom he has a past history. DiCaprio an ideal choice for this role. Won Academy Awards for Best Set Decoration and Best Costume Design.
