REVIEWS Review by John Denver Fan (posted on 13-Feb-2008) This insipid Made-for-TV movie fails the viewer almost from the beginning. It was supposedly a factual account based on the 1994 autobiography written by John Denver himself, but the film's timeline does not match the author's. The only good parts in this movie are the songs of John Denver. The acting is not worth noting. Kristin Davis and Gerald McRaney appear to be trying to make the best out of this poorly written script. Chad Lowe plays John as a whining, self-absorbed twit; who is trying to feel good about himself by being everything to everyone. This movie is not worth watching.
