ABSTRACT
Conor O'Neill, once a man with a bright road ahead of him, saw his life fall to pieces when a debilitating gambling addiction left him in debt to thuggish bookies. Conor's dire need for a loan sees him accepting a job as coach of a south-side Chicago Little League team, serving as an unlikely inspirational figure for the squad as his creditors appear intent on tracking him down and breaking his legs.
