Sequel to 2002's The Ring follows the continuing tale of the cursed videotape six months following the previous film.

ABSTRACT
Sequel to The Ring (2002). Six months on from the grisly events of The Ring, high school student Jake attempts to show a resurfaced copy of the cursed tape to girlfriend Emily, only to be killed by Samara Morgan's spirit when Emily covers her eyes and shields herself from an effective death sentence. Rachel Keller arrives back on the scene upon learning of Jake's demise, investigating Samara's past in a bid to protect her son from the girl's brand of supernatural vengeance.
