ABSTRACT
Inspired by events concerning the Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart scandal of the late 90s, Rampart tells the tale of LAPD cop Dave Brown, a philandering, rule-twisting, hate-filled thug of a man whose actions lead to his ultimate downfall when he is caught on camera beating an individual to a near-death state.
